Repaiting locomotive
First run POEdit and choose locomotive, which you want to repaint. Is better to make backup copy of locomotive file (in objects directory).

Then choose menu/Object/Edit (shortcut F4). You may be here:
Window is quite different, but a few elements are necessary to repainting. You
need only painting tools (at bottom, marked with red one),
color palette 2 and ...
I have not explained, how model is painted. So model is painted from all sides (from left,right,bottom,top,from eye, into monitor).
This image is placed on 3D shape from correct page. The simplest model has 3 images, between this images you switch
with buttons X,Y,Z (3). X is from left, Y from top and Z from eye. If locomotive seems else from left and right, you can
switch with packed list 4.
You can set zoom (5), or move picture by dragging right mouse button.
Painting is similar to the other paint tools (eg. PaintBrush), tools are in panel 1.
The same method can be used to repaint building.
Before test locomotive in VlakoSim you must quit POEdit.
You can used finished textures, they can be downloaded from Traffic screensaver picture database (in links on my web page).
